Fun Memorial Day!

This weekend Aaron's mom and dad decided to enjoy a little California sun! Saturday we took Ashton's new bumper boat to the pool and let him scoot around and squirt all the kids! Aaron also enjoyed a water fight victory over a few 6 year old girls. (Way to go honey!) The bumper boat is going to be a hit this summer! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Bope!

Sunday was such a beautiful day! After church we went for a walk around the North Lake. Aaron saw huge bass and grass carp swimming in the lake last week and decided it was time to "rip some lip!"! Sorry to report that all Dennis and Aaron caught was a sunburn. But it made for a great picture! Maybe next time guys!

Monday we celebrated Ashton's birthday at the Big Wheel Park. It is a park built for bike riding; complete with tunnels, overpasses, speed bumps, and a "gas station". We decorated bikes, drew with sidewalk chalk in the tunnels, and abused a pinata. (Hooray Robin for finally breaking it open . . . she's one of the kids' moms!) A big thank you to everyone who came! We had a great time and love you all!
