Nicaragua

Aaron was lucky enough to be invited by Skullcandy to attend their off-site board meeting. For six days (although two were spent traveling through the rain forests of South America) he had quite the adventure! He sent home the best travel log of his trip - and I'm so glad the wives weren't invited because I would have been freaking out the entire trip! Snakes in the ocean, millions of crabs crawling onto the beach each night finding lodging in their condos, one guy was stabbed through the bottom of the foot by a stingray then carted through the jungle to a "doctor" who charged him $35 to operate on his foot with needle nose pliers, massive rain forest rainstorms, militia men with rifles guarding them while they played golf just in case of an attack from enemy rebels, and . . . . he loved every minute of it. Men.

On the life changing side of things, he witnessed a people with very, very little who were incredibly happy. After a storm, he observed children carry a huge palm tree to the beach. They buried the truck of the tree on a 30 degree angle into the sand then commenced to jump on the branches like a trampoline - flips and everything. Unlike Honduras and Guatemala where the people feel their poverty, these folks are oblivious to how little they have and are genuinely happy.
He was reminded AGAIN of how truly blessed we all are.
