Ashton's soccer team is awesome. His coach is a man in our ward who is more passionate about soccer than anyone I know. He holds soccer practice at his house once a week.
The Killer Kleats won every team they played except for one. They all got along great and played so well together. Because Ashton is the oldest on his team, he has to find a new soccer team next year. We're so sad not to be able to play with this team anymore!
For the last game the coach spray painted all the kids hair red. (Big stretch for Ashton right?!) Their hair matched their uniforms and they loved it! We played all of our games at Sky Mountain Park which is on top of South Mountain. We had a view of the whole valley during the games - it was beautiful! (Except when the thunder coulds rolled in right on top of us and we were in danger of being hit by lightening!)
This was Draper's first ever soccer league. Ashton's going to sound ancient someday when he tells his kids and grandkids that he was part of history!
GO KILLER KLEATS!
