Zoo Day

I can't believe the school is winding down! Ashton is really happy in Kindergarten. We have a blast doing his homework together. His teacher is young and fun and creative. Her name is Miss Ipson and she calls her class "Miss Ipson's friends". Ashton really likes her. This is the last project of the year. Ashton was assigned to give an oral report on pengiuns. He memorized five facts to share with the class and we had to put together a pengiun costume for him to wear at school. The kids spent a couple weeks creating different animal habitats right in their classroom. It was darling!

What I didn't know was that the kids had a musical program for the parents. Poor Ashton! It was hilarious watching him try to do all the actions to the songs with his giant flippers on his hands. Sometimes he was frustrated with his flippers and sometimes he would just laugh at them in his way!
